Collin Dobbs is a Nashville-based touring and session drummer with a career built around feel, consistency, and playing for the song. He currently tours with country music legends The Bellamy Brothers, performing across the U.S. and internationally.
Collin started playing drums at five years old and grew up playing in church, where he learned early on how important it is to listen, support the people around you, and know when not to overplay. His first teacher, Jack Dukes, along with later mentors Brian Baudrit and John Favicchia, helped shape the musical foundation he still brings to the kit today.
Over the years, Collin has played across country, contemporary Christian, rock, pop, jazz, and funk. Country and Christian music have played a major role in his career, but he has always enjoyed being able to move between different styles and musical settings. In addition to touring with The Bellamy Brothers, he has toured with Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated duo Jeff & Sheri Easter and has worked with a variety of artists and musicians both live and in the studio.
For Collin, drumming has never been about playing the most notes or trying to be the loudest person in the room. It is about making the music feel good, giving the artist what they need, and being someone the people around him can count on night after night.
When he is not on the road, Collin records drums remotely from his Nashville-area studio for artists, producers, and songwriters. Whether it is a live show, a studio session, or a remote track, he brings the same mindset to every project: show up prepared, listen, and make the song better.
Collin continues to tour, record, collaborate, and build his career in Nashville and beyond.
